His life was like a folk law legend,but it wasn’t make-believe, hearsay, myth, play or pretend. He could make the forces of nature and your mind bend, and as his eye’s gaze across thee, you’ll be put in a trance, true sorcery. I felt the true sensation of the flight of the soul and intensely colored dramatic visions As my dreams unfold, encounters with supernatural beings and demons, as my soul grew cold. Seeing chapters of my life I wish I could have just kept hold.
This is where I stand. In the vast unknown, direction is meaningless. Feelings are vague and decisions are pointless. With no orientation of where one stands, confusion and panic set in.
I fear I’m falling, but can’t be sure.

This is an illustration i did for Korsakoff’s Paper Chain of A6 micro-anthologies pocket book of spells & poetry. the idea was to create an ‘atmosphere’ of magic but avoid being over-literal or too ‘traditional’ - ie. witches stirring cauldrons, wizards with wands. so this is what i come up with in 2 color ways
